Death of Things (DoT): An IoT workshop

Death of Things (DoT) is a series of moving figures representing public personas whose operation depends if these people are still alive. When the system detects that the character has died, the figure will stop moving permanently. A connection between the 'life' of the object and the person's life represented is established.

In this workshop we will explain how this artwork was developed. And using this as an example we will present different tools (software and hardware) and devices to learn how to do our own IoT inventions that will be able to connect to the internet and react in the physical world.

We will work with some libraries that will help us to scrap the web and work with interesting information.
